A DRIER SPOOL. A BETTER START.

Good prints start
with dry filament.

Popping, stringing or a spool that's been sitting out? Find your maker's drying settings, then give that filament somewhere dry to live.

A NOTE ABOUT “LAB”

Sources you can check.
Claims you can trust.

We don't test products. Every temperature and time comes from the filament or dryer maker, linked and dated. “Lab” is our name, not a claim of testing.

We explain the limits alongside the settings, so you can make sense of the advice for your own spool.

ONE MORE WORKSHOP QUESTION
Do I need a dryer or a dry box?

A dryer removes moisture under the maker's specified conditions. A dry box limits moisture exposure during storage. A sealed box alone doesn't establish that a wet spool is ready to print. Choose a storage approach.

Can humidity tell me whether my filament is wet?

A hygrometer measures the air around it, not the moisture inside your filament. Use it to monitor storage, and use your maker's drying guidance for the spool. Check humidity and dew point.
